Whether you need to get your boat or barge from here to there or you simply need to get water flowing, PL Consultants, LLC can open your channel to meet your objectives. Our teaming relationships allow us to operate dredges specifically designed to work in narrow channels and canals. These swinging ladder dredges do not require anchors and thus can operate while allowing existing boat traffic to pass with little interference. Performing these projects with a hydraulic dredge allows the material to be placed sometimes several thousand feet away from the channel.

Strict return water quality requirements, contaminated sediments, clean fill capping, PL Consultants, LLC can meet your project standards and provide all the expertise necessary to perform your environmentally sensitive dredging project. PL Consultants, LLC’s crews are experienced in removing contaminated sediments and capping those areas using clean fill. All work on these projects is monitored using state of the art GPS software and dredge tracking equipment. Capping operations can be performed either hydraulically or mechanically depending on your project specific needs. PL Consultants, LLc is also capable of designing and operating water filtration systems, such as bag filters, sand filters, active carbon and aluminum filters, to ensure all water quality standards are met.
WETLAND REMEDIATION SERVICES
Traditional wetland remediation and restoration projects entail temporary roads, drainage structures, or levee systems. Recovery from this approach takes longer as the wetland is destroyed while it is getting cleaned up. At PLC, we have customized amphibious equipment that can avoid the need for costly temporary roads and shallow-draft dredges so the marsh doesn’t have to be drained.
Our amphibious equipment is designed to match the production rates of alternative methods. Larger than what can be found on the rental market, PLC’s amphibious equipment can be used to excavate, transport, and transfer contaminated sediment from a variety of wetland conditions. When the water is too deep and the ground is too unstable to use traditional equipment, or the water is too shallow and vegetation is too thick to use shallow-draft barges, our amphibious equipment is the perfect solution. In all cases, this equipment has extremely low ground pressure, and can float fully loaded when required to cross channels or lakes.
